    Manage and lead the team of Java Engineers to deliver changes across all our Java applications whilst always ensuring high quality and efficiency


    • Providing strategic technology leadership for our Java technologies and operating models, which is key to the bank's success
    • Setting and defining standards and best practice and communicating to colleagues, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to engineering excellence
    • Identify and manage risk throughout the design and development lifecycle relevant to the Chapter and applications you own

    • Expert knowledge in the technology and engineering best practices in Java technology
    • Knowledge and experience with Line management, coaching, mentoring and how to build sustainable and high performing capabilities over time
    • Experience building RESTful APIs with any of: Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus
