Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Net Zero Manager to join a market-leading energy data and management consultancy.

The role is to manage the Energy Services and Sustainability Department, overseeing a team of ESOS Assessors and Energy Consultants.

The ideal candidate will be commercially minded with a technical background in an energy related field and some knowledge / experience in Net Zero / GHG reporting within sustainability or related discipline.

A supervisor or senior looking for the next step up would be considered.


Key responsibilities:
Commercial management & day to day operation of Energy Services and Sustainability deptsGrowth of both departments by promoting available and new services to existing / prospective clients, directly and via consultantsGeneral management of Senior Energy Efficiency Engineer and office-based staffLiaise with 3rd parties / clients on projects to monitor and ensure smooth progress with satisfied completion / clientsHave initial client discussions about EED Article 8 services and on-site resilience (PV, CHP etc) or compliance schemes (ESOS, Energy Audit Requirements etc)

Maintain knowledge base of staff by assisting with group training / awareness sessionsSkills and experience required:
Ability to manage staff in the office and remote workersCommercially control / monitor discussions with clients / prospects about servicesUnderstand the main energy reporting / compliance schemes such as ESOS, EED Article 8 (in Europe), EPCs, EPBD, TM44, Heat Network regulations etcAbility to work closely with other staff / consultants to support overall service to clientsConfidence to hold meetings and presentations, face to face and onlineExperience in project management, energy efficiency and onsite generation will be neededKnowledge or experience in Net Zero / GHG reportingShare this jobJob ID: JD – 14142 Redhill Full time6 months ago40k – 60k DOE + commission and bonus Net Zero
