Contract:
Part time, Fixed Term Contract

Salary £26,000 to £30,000 (pro rata)

Are you an experienced tutor in Functional Skills qualifications Level 2?

Can you deliver training sessions, including on-line teaching, in these skills and inspire our apprentices to achieve to the best of their ability? Are you passionate about promoting the welfare of learners?


The role

  • Review diagnostic assessments with learners
  • Prepare individual Functional Skills training plans
  • Prepare resources to support online delivery
  • Plan and deliver online Functional Skills workshops
  • Deliver 121 training sessions as required
  • Mark and provide feedback on practice assessments
  • Support and empower coaching staff
  • Provide monthly report on individual learner progress

What we're looking for

  • Essential Qualifications/Experience
  • Qualification or extensive experience in delivering Functional Skills at Level
  • Experience of online delivery
  • Level 3 literacy and numeracy qualifications

Desirable Experience

  • Level 5 teaching qualification
