We are seeking to appoint an energetic, passionate, and tenacious Pastoral Head of Year for Year 11.

The successful applicant will work with colleagues, students and parents/carers in partnership, sustaining and improving the quality of education provided.

Pastoral Head of Year have the responsibility to set high standards and high expectations in student behaviour, attendance and appearance and to celebrate success and achievements.

They are a crucial point of contact between home and school and for students on a day-to-day basis.

This role will be for at least year 1, to be with Year 11, so someone with a complete belief in our students to achieve highly and very high expectations for student behaviour is needed.

  • The ability to command respect from students

  • Numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to GCSE grade C in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
