Description
RG Consultancy are working with an SME (approx. 18 million TO business) who are a financial consultancy firm and are looking for a company Financial Controller to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This role is an office-based position and is a handson varied role. This would suit someone who is wanting to support a SME business.


The role reports to the financial director (who is based off site and in a UK location) and has 1 direct report (accounts clerk) who is based in Bolton.


Benefits:


  • 37.5 hours per week Monday Friday (flexi start and finish times)
  • Office based.
  • 26 days plus bank holidays 4 days to be saved for Christmas as they have a full shut down

Duties:


  • Preparation monthly management accounts
  • Submission of VAT returns
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Nominal ledger
  • HMRC queries
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Account reconciliations
  • Audit support
  • 1 direct report (account assistant)
  • Other adhoc duties
