Position Duties Summary:

The main function of the Merchandiser is to offer good support to the Natures Menu customers in a polite and responsible manner.

Working within a department which offers service in order taking and processing, supporting consumers with product and pet food nutrition, delivery and order satisfaction.

Our customer service team attend to customers in a calm and professional manner putting the customers' needs first.


Main Responsibilities of the Merchandiser:

  • Have good time keeping and a good attendance record
  • Have good personal skills to deal with customers face to face, via telephone and electronic communication
  • Perform tasks and duties in a polite and responsible manner
  • Take time to selfeducate yourself on the company, products and knowledge needed to perform your role

Main duties of your specific role include:

  • Delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Work closely with their BDM and Sales Office to respond within allocated time to POS requests
  • Gaining full product knowledge and feeding knowledge
  • Ensure exemplary conduct and communications with colleagues and customers alike.
  • Follow BEST PRACTICE at all times when merchandising and installing freezers
  • Understanding knowledge center advise and how to communicate this to customers
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the direct management chain.

Specific Daily tasks include:

  • Freezer deliveries and installation
  • Set up and break down at Trade and Consumer Shows. This will involve some weekend work.
  • Advise stores of the RAW ADVISOR course and available POS
  • Sell in of freezers as agreed by BDM and in accordance with the annual bonus structure
  • Discuss ranges / new products with retailers to gain orders or take leads to pass to BDM, utilising trade price lists and relevant point of sale available
  • Work closely with their BDM and Sales Office to respond within allocated time to POS requests
  • Send photos on weekly log of comprehensive merchandising work

Skills & Experience Required:

Qualifications**:

  • Good communication skills
  • Sales skill set preferred but not essential
  • Must be competent with Microsoft office products; Outlook, Excel, Word,

Experience:


  • Pet Trade knowledge preferred but not essential
  • Customer care and customer facing role
