Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a manufacturing business based in Oldbury on a Finance Manager role.
The role itself involves a blend of commercial analysis and traditional finance.As part of the Finance Manager role, you will supportthe in the forecasting of financial statements, highlighting risk and identifying potential areas of out-performance.
The role will enable you to take ownership of all financials including management reports and accounts, posting monthly journals and reportingto senior stakeholders on finance data.

The role
As Finance Manager you will report into the Head of Finance and you will be responsible for the below:
- Day to day book-keeping within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
- Support the Divisional FC during the budgeting and reforecast process
- Preparation and submission of all HMRC returns
- Debtor control and management, reviewing credit risk and customer payment performance
- Weekly Cash Flow Forecast
- Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Helping with general management tasks related to finance function, such as ONS reports
- Support with variety of HR tasks in line with the UK HR Strategies and timelines
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including Trial Balance and Profit & Loss Statement
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and key control accounts
- WIP control & valuation, standard cost analysis and the relationship to Cost of Sales
- Monitoring the day
- day financial operations, supporting the team on site as required
The Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Excel skills are essential, pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs etc
- Experience with manufacture and distribution, WIP management and valuation
