Busy Bee Recruitment are currently working with a national care company who specialise in providing care and support for young people living in residential facilities.

We have a very exciting position for a
Children's Home Team Leader to now support in leading one of their homes in
Milton Keynes to push forward their message and values of really putting each child and their needs at the heart of all they do


As Team Leader for their 4-bed children's home, you will be assisting the management team in the day to day running of the service specialising in care for those learning disabilities whilst leading a team of Support Workers.


_ Please note to qualify for this role you MUST hold a level 3 qualification in residential childcare and a drivers license. _

Job role:


  • Working in partnership with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Ensuring care plans for young people are delivered and adjusted where applicable with continual quality care reviews.
  • Working closely with young people to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential
  • Attend to Young People's practical, physical and emotional needs
  • Completing written reports and documentation daily
  • Leading the team on your relevant shifts, being responsible for events
  • Rota planning and shift coordination
  • Work shift patterns and sleep in's yourself

What we are looking for:


  • You MUST have a level 3 qualification in residential childcare.
  • You MUST have a driving license
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience working with children / young people
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Satisfactory references
  • A kind, patient, and caring personality
  • A genuine interest for supporting and learning with young people
