Can you with the help of workshop manager and ops manager set up, monitor and maintain the inventory system for a fabrication company?

Duties will include;

• Working as a workshop operative with responsibility for material and stock control.
• Unloading of stock deliveries.
• Process materials on saw to sizes provided. Identify and distribute to correct areas.
• Maintain minimum stock levels on consumables throughout the workshop.
• Generate weekly order on items required in collaboration with workshop Manager.
• Maintain plant and machinery regularly in line with maintenance schedule. Generally, includes checking for leaks and loose wires etc, cleaning down and oiling as required.
• Loading our vehicles with materials and delivering to site. This can mean early mornings and drives to places like Birmingham.

The position is integral part of the production team, a key position in the workshop. It is NOT working through an agency but working directly with the company.

Location - Wigan
Rate - £12.50 to £13.20 per hour
Shift - Days, Mon - Fri
