Technical Team Lead -.Net/ Azure - £85k + 35% Bonus & Excellent Benefits - Hybrid

Overview:

Role & Responsibilities:

Work closely with the product owners and product designer to refine new ideas and translate them into technically feasible
To assist and contribute to architecture and technical strategy in relation to project deliverables
Mentor and coach developers and review their work, mentor others to adopt Agile practices
To contribute to the improvement of the code base, and project and development processes
To work as part of the development team to contribute and support changes and releases
Prepare functional specification and solution formulation of projects
To ensure all development is conducted within the parameters and requirements laid out in HDS IT Policies
To achieve and maintain a current skill set relevant to the HDS development projects as outlined by the Director of Digital Development
Actively participate, contribute and mentor others to adopt Agile practices
Take a proactive role within the team to support the development of colleagues
To ensure that highquality documentation is developed, maintained, regularly reviewed and stored for all solutions developed
To perform peer reviews of code and documentation in order to ensure that procedures and standards are followed consistently. Continuously work towards the objective of building in quality and provide appropriately tested solutions

Essential Skills & Experience:

Net frameworks

Knowledge of Object orientated development
An aptitude for systems development and the ability to understand and manage complex concepts
Demonstrable knowledge of Secure coding and OWASP
Are excited to move fast, know how to prioritise tasks and manage your time independently
Enterprise development experience
Experience with using modern web frameworks
Experience in mentoring other team members to improve individuals and team capability

Desirable:

Experience working within an Agile environment; delivering within defined Sprints; familiarity with Agile principles ceremonies
Azure or other Cloud development

Package:

- £85,000 depending on experience
