We have an exciting new opportunity for a Document Controller to join our offsite team based in Drighlinton, West Yorkshire.

In this role you will provide a professional and high quality document management service; being accountable for controlling the receipt, management and transfer of all information on a project/projects.

This is a permanent staff position with NG Bailey.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that our safety first and foremost message is visible and alive through all activities undertaken
  • Own, control and manage the project document management system, managing the flow of information. Ensure all documentation is properly receipted, checked, monitored, registered and distributed through the project team, client team, supply chain and other contractors.
  • Knowledge of having worked on client driven central systems such as Teamcenter and CEMAR would be highly beneficial.
  • Provide a professional administration service to support team members.
  • Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure synergy between NG Bailey system and external document management systems.
  • Provide regular progress reports to project management as required
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality, including the safe storage of documentation and drawings.

Requirements:


  • Demonstrable experience of electronic document management systems and associated processes.
  • Experience in working in highly regulated sectors work be highly beneficial where quality and accuracy of documentation is paramount to the sign off and approval of products and paperwork is critical.
  • Experience in working in a steel fabrication facility with welding systems and processors is desirable.
  • Working under pressure, to tight deadlines and an ability to prioritise own workload.
