    Our privately owned client who has regional offices throughout the UK, is a leading name within the demolition and civil engineering industry with a group annual turnover in excess of £130M.

    Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, remediation, bulk excavation, piling and basement construction and their strong reputation for successfully finishing challenging projects has been built on delivery and trust.


    They are renowned for looking after their staff, providing them with strong career progression opportunities through their extensive commitment to training and development and with their close management team; Due to ongoing company expansion and a healthy pipeline, our client is recruiting permanently for a Project Health and Safety Manager to be based on a long term heavy industrial demolition contract in Runcorn, Cheshire.


    Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Associate Director, you will be responsible for carrying out site inspections and audits; reviewing subcontractor documentation and training; providing SHE advice to the project team and attending regular meetings; preparing and delivering site inductions and maintaining up to date health and safety company policies to name just a few duties.


    For professionals at the right level of experience, our client is offering a strong basic salary of £55,000 to £62,000 per annum (depending on how much experience gained).

    Additionally, expenses will be covered in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large, successful contractor.


    In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative you hold a minimum of 3 years on site experience in providing competent health and safety advice, specifically having worked within the demolition sector.

    Additionally as a minimum, you must hold either a NEBOSH General / Construction Certificate, full first aid, asbestos awareness and a valid CSCS card.
