- Managing the evening shift cleaning team efficiently and effectively, ensuring all hygiene tasks meet the required standard and constantly seeking ways to enhance efficiency and quality
- Ensuring the department has the necessary resources, maintaining and expanding the skill set as needed
- Motivating and developing the team to achieve KPIs and ensure successful completion of all cleaning tasks
- Conducting daily cleaning audits, documenting corrective actions and ensuring they are implemented
- Handling any other reasonable tasks delegated by Site Management

Foyle Gloucester is looking for a Hygiene Manager to join their team at Cinderford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cleaning/Hygiene Manager to showcase their skills and have a real impact on one of the most innovative beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be in charge of leading the evening shift cleaning/hygiene team. Responsibilities include:
Essential Requirements:
•Prior experience in a hygiene team/department and familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment
•Proficient in health and safety (H&S) and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations
•Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions
•Flexibility in terms of shifts and willingness to work outside regular hours (including weekends and holidays)
Desired Qualifications:
•Knowledge of first aid practices
•Experience in a production environment
•Team player with a hands-on approach
