    Description

    Do you want to work with some of the biggest broadcasters in the industry? Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with a large Media & Entertainment Data Workflow company to hire their next ICT Support Technician Apprentice to join their other successful apprentices.

    The client is based in High Wycombe & provide storage and servers for some of the largest broadcasting companies such as VICE, BBC, FOX Sports and many more. The client has a wealth of experience in running an apprenticeship scheme to help nurture the future talent of the industry. You will be guided through your apprenticeship with the help of our IT coaches at Baltic Apprenticeships as well as working on building hardware, configuring networks, fixing hardware issues, installing software and so much more to reach your true potential

    In this role, you'll work towards your IT Support Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

    A Typical Day in the Job:

    • Building IT systems and configuring networks
    • General IT cabling
    • Troubleshooting, testing and analysing problems within systems
    • Hardware installs include PC Cards, PC's, Desk phone & mobile phones
    • Create virtual machines that can then be logged onto and used when supporting
    • Installing servers, firewalls and software
    • Logging and resolving IT Support calls

    Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

    Salary, Hours & Benefits:

    • Salary - £14,000
    • 09:00am – 17:30pm
    • Monday – Friday
    • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

    • Good written & verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to learn
    • Teamwork and problem-solving skills
    • Grade 4/C in Maths & 5/C English GCSE
