    Description

    ROLE: CNC Turner

    Permanent

    Full time
    Working Hours: 38.5 hour week, Monday – Friday (half day Friday)
    £28,000 – £33,600 per year depending on experience

    ​

    We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner in Nantwich. Our client provides high quality,
    customer focused engineering services across a wide variety of customers and we are
    looking for an experienced, skilled CNC Turner to fill a permanent, full time position within
    their busy team.

    Our client's environment is busy and dynamic and the work is diverse, interesting and
    rewarding. If you have an eye for detail and the personal characteristics to flourish in a busy

    This position would suit someone who enjoys variety and who is looking to develop
    their own skill set.

    ​

    Role & Responsibilites

    • Programming,
    • Setting and operating CNC multi axis mills and lathes including Haas, Doosan and XYZ
    machines using Haas and Fanuc controls.

    Requirements
    • 2-3 years turning experience preferred
    • Experience in multi-change set ups and demanding tolerances,
    • Be able to work from engineering drawings to produce high quality components in a
    variety of materials,
    - Experience in off line programming and live tooling would be an advantage
    Candidate Profile
     Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and following instructions outlined in
    job cards
     Comfortable working to systems and procedures but able to think clearly and
    independently
    • Experience working within a sub–contracting environment to tight tolerances
    • Team player with a positive, flexible "can-do" attitude
    • Pays attention to detail and has the ability to produce consistently high-quality
    products for our customers
