    Description
    We are now recruiting for a Labourer/FLT Driver in the ilkeston area, working for our client. based in a manufacturing plant. Previous machine operating/engineering experience is preferred but a positive attitude to work is more important
    Duties

    • General labouring, this includes lifting and moving of heavy objects (working as a 2 person team )
    • Machine operating, including shotblasters
    • Moving items from machines to pallets
    What we are looking for

    • Previous engineering, machine operating or labouring experience is required
    • Previous use of power tools is an advantage
    • Full training will be given
    • Working mainly a day shift but flexibility required to work afternoons when required
    • FLT Licence is preferred
    • Able to lift heavy objects and work in an industrial environment (which can be noisy and dirty, however appropriate PPE will be supplied)
    What's in it for you

    • Starting at £13.19 an hour, these are temporary, on-going roles that may become eventually permanent (subject to suitability)
    • Working Wednesday - Friday 6am - 6pm (36 hours) plus overtime
