The Role
We are delighted to be hiring exclusively for a Finance Manager in a public sector organisation. This role is based on-site and offers long-term job security. It can be considered on a full time (40 hours) or part time basis. Some key aspects are below.
- Production of management accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Liaising with budget holders on a regular basis and providing financial information and advice
- Line management of the finance assistant
- Involvement in income generation projects and procurement
The Organisation
This is a large public sector organisation which sits as part of a group. it provides long-term security, a good pension and a buzzy atmosphere. It will see a lot of interaction with stakeholders.
The Person
- An accountant, either chartered or QBE
- A self starter
- Experienced in working with management accounts
- Able to be firm with budget holders but also work well as part of the team.
- Able to work in a friendly and fast paced environment.
