My East Midlands client is looking for a procurement and contracts specialist to join the team on a permanent basis.

Working as part of a large procurement function and reporting into the Procurement and Contracts Compliance Manager your role will be to manage a procurement and contract compliance function and to advise stakeholders on systems and processes for procurement and contract related functions.

The role also involves supporting stakeholders with complex issues such as interpretation of procurement and contract management compliance as well as managing and recording procurement savings, analysing data from the procurement and finance system and support staff with the use of contract management tools.

The role requires someone with an understanding of procurement and contracts regulations in the public sector as well as someone who is able to support others with information, guidance, systems knowledge and ensure everyone is kept up to date with changes in legislation and new developments.

the role is paying circa £35,000 and requires 1 day a week in the office in Derbyshire.
