THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking a Quality Inspection Operative for our client based in North Tyneside. The client is a global organisation who are a Gold Standard Investors in People Employer. THE ROLE

  • Working to perform visual inspection of parts using rulers and build diagrams
  • Reporting defects and agreeing corrective actions
  • Working to achieve quality targets
  • Performing data collection
  • Supporting Quality Engineers with investigations and resolution of customer & quality defects
  • Ability to deliver basic auditing in a timely manner
  • Documenting quality

THE PERSON

  • Must have a thorough understanding of drawings and schematics
  • Good communication skills between departments
  • Must have performed visual quality checking prior
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • IT proficient to record and document quality defects
  • Reliability and punctuality are a must

THE PACKAGE
This is a temp to perm role and will transfer to a permanent contract following a successful probation period. The role pays £10.33 per hour.

The role centres on day shift work only (37.5hr working week).

The organisation allows flexible start times and the hours of work are:07:00-16:00 or 07:30-16:30 Monday - Thursday

07:00-11:30 or 07:30-12:00 Friday
