What Will I Be Doing as a Team Leader?

  • Maintenance of stationary stock levels relevant to Facility location and control of stationary usage within the Facility.
  • Achieve all agreed service levels, maximise company revenues and control costs through effective planning, deployment and management of all available resources.
  • Support Facility Manager in delivering expected JPR in line with company expectation
  • Lead, direct and develop (in line with CTUK values) all colleagues so that they are fully capable and engaged in order that individual performance levels are maximised
  • Set measurable objectives for Team Support Officer to fulfil Facility Manager and Business vision.
  • Work in conjunction with LUK to maintain depot security features and maintain security processes to mitigate risk to the business and its employees.
  • Proactively identify and recommend appropriate changes in order to make business improvements.
  • Monitor fleet status and maximise the availability of a fully functional fleet by ensuring that planned services, repairs and MOTs are conducted as required in accordance with internal procedures and VOSA guidelines.
  • Monitor the control of and adherence to company policy and procedures in order to ensure compliance to all H&S, legal, regulatory (SIA, VOSA, Operating License etc.) and company requirements ensuring full reporting and completion of relevant documentation as required.
  • Deliver full and effective use of, and input to GTAS system in order to provide data to internal stakeholders so that effective business analysis and decisions can be made.
  • Direct an appropriate response to all unplanned issues (e.g. cash outs, accidents, attacks, fleet issues) in order to achieve a swift and effective resolution.
  • Manage employee payroll and ensure Oracle has been updated to reflect annual leave ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time.
  • Manage utilization of employees hours, ensuring staff are on the most optimal rota for the business.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external service providers in order to ensure an efficient service is delivered to the depot so that the depot can operate effectively.
  • Manage relationships with LUK including people, security and vehicle integration.

  • Ability to lead through others in addition to being a team player.
