Job Description:
The Service Project Leader is a billable resource.
The role is a mix of a Field Service Professional role and a Project Leader acting as face to the customer.
Responsible for successfully planning, controlling, reporting, and leading Service project deliverables to ensure that customer needs are met from order receipt through to final acceptance.
Manage the efforts of team members and third-party vendors. Manage the integration and/or development and delivery of deliverables directly to the customer, or in support of a major enterprise-wide projectResponsibilities:
- Extensive experience with direct customer contact.
- Able to work and coordinate in a team environment (direct team but also in the wider LCS organization.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
- Must have conflict / negotiation resolution skills.
- Must perform duties in the office or outside the office as part of a project team.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants, ships, etc., which may require climbing, working in confined spaces and other unusual work environments.
- Responsible for the preparation and presentation of quotes, sales proposals, and contracts to the customer in compliance with company policies and standards, obtaining the appropriated approvals
- Consult with other functions on issues like pricing, product specification, warranties, and product adaptation to ensure that we provide the appropriate business and technical solution to the customer needs
Functional:
- May participate in development of business team strategic plan.
- Support of individual customer requirements
- Performs all aspects of project lead functions.
- Manages execution of assigned projects within margin targets.
- Manages and reports all resource demand and financial aspects of
techniques.
Interne Stellenausschreibung 35-2- Be the Service Project Lead but also fulfil an Engineering role. Whenever
it is effective the Service Project Lead need to work as a Field Service
Professional to maximize to customer value and to meet Business goals
like Utilization, Margin etc.
Business:
Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental
and regulatory policies and procedures as appropriate for this position.
- Deliver projects to the quality standards and constraints dictated by the
- Ensure that all project administration is completed, and project reports are
- Support the presales processes to generate priced proposals for existing

Leadership:
- May lead internal project process improvement efforts.
- Leads efforts of project personnel on projects.
- Coaches lessexperienced engineers assigned to projects.

- Must have good negotiation skills.
Basic qualifications
- BS in Engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge; further education in
- Local language skills, plus excellent English language (verbal and written)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.
Experience required for Professional Level:
- Conversant with all MS software products Excel, Access, Word, etc
- Typically, five or more years' experience in a system, software, process
project experience.
