Our client is a fast growing yet established and successful multi-regional main contractor with an established reputation across the South West, Wales and beyond.

Typical projects are Social Housing maintenance (Kitchen & Bathroom upgrades, External refurb) and refurbishment, and retro fit upgrades/de-carbonisation contracts across the private and public sectors.

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial Manager within the Property Servicers sector to lead the commercial function of the South West and Wales business unit (£50m T/O) You will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of a live projects via Quantity Surveying teams, reporting to the Managing Director.

• Identify areas to strengthen commercial processes across a variety of contracts (response, voids, planned & projects)
• Review and scrutinse contract CVRs to ensure accuracy and identify areas to improve performance
• Review key contracts at tender stage and upon award to identify risks and opportunities
• Ensure subcontractor management process is being followed
• WIP monitoring and management, ensuring that invoices are accurate and being issued on time
• Debt monitoring and management, ensuring cash is collected on time

• You will have solid experience with either a national or regional main contractor
• You MUST have experience within the Social Housing mainenance sector(Kitchen & Bathroom upgrades, Planned works, External works etc)
• Demonstrable experience of delivering commercial aspects of construction projects within budget and programme
• Experience managing Quantity Surveyors
• Experience managing business units in excess of £25m
