Purchasing Assistant

Salary Range:
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Location:
Brierley Hill

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Core hours of work: 8:00am - 4:30pm weekdays with 30 minutes break

Position:

This opportunity is for a leading UK based designer, manufacturer and service provider of winches and lifting appliances for the global marine and offshore industry, based at a state-of-the-art facility in the Black Country.

Key Responsibilities:

Dealing with BOM's line count in several 100's
Researching previous purchase history
Placing orders and progressing orders to delivery
Working with manual and ERP systems

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Engineering background
Experience working within a purchasing function
Excellent attention to detail
IT literate
