Agora Talent are once again partnering with one of the strongest retails brands in the UK to support their search for an Interim Head of Group FP&A. Initially on a 6 month contract, this role will have significant exposure to the Executive team, partnering closely with the CFO and will play a key role in defining the 3-5 year plan.

The role:

• Collaborating with the Group and wider strategy teams, setting the agenda and focus of Group budgeting, forecasting and 3 year planning cycles, with a keen focus on cashflow and balance sheet management.
• Crafting regular and ad hoc presentations and papers for the Board, Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee, as well as ad hoc support to the CFO, CEO, Investor Relations and Treasury.
• Supporting your team to business partner 3 Executive Committee ("ExCo) members (Director of HR, General Counsel and Director of Corporate Affairs), managing the c.£240m cost base, including in-year budgeting and forecasts and strategic longer-term planning.
• Providing commercial insight and challenge to transformation initiatives in these areas, as well as ongoing programmes including carbon planning, organisational design, and reviewing the businesses total reward package (including share schemes).

About you:

• Qualified Accountant with significant post qualified experience
• Experienced Head of FP&A with significant Group exposure, preferably from a listed plc or large business unit
• Strong communication and business partnering skills. Ability to interact across various business units with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent team leadership skills
