Northern Ireland Housing Executive - Joiners - Newtownabbey

About the role:


  • Hourly Rate: £11.81 per hour
  • Location: Newtownabbey
  • Hours of Work: 37 hrs per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30 am pm & Friday 8.30 am pm
  • Holidays: 37 days pro rata
  • Duration: Temporary, ongoing

Duties:


  • Carry out first and second fix joinery work associated with major and minor construction work, and other maintenance and refurbishment duties.
  • Undertake a range of response maintenance and building work on the full range of Housing Executive properties. There will be minor work outside trade where required.

Criteria:


  • Completed either time served or skills apprenticeship.
  • At least 1 years' post apprenticeship experience including.
  • Full current driving licence or access to a form of transport.
  • Flexible to provide an emergency call out service on evenings and weekends rota basis.
  • As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
