This is an exciting time to be joining Uniserve Group as it looks to further develop its HR function and capability to provide a springboard to achieve the ambitious global growth plans.
We are transforming our people proposition and require an HR Assistant/Coordinator to work with the HR Advisor and Operations to complete the administration of processes and procedures in all things people related.
The HR Assistant/ Coordinator will enjoy working with the wider HR team as we go through this period of change.
You will spend a large amount of time in Felixstowe but also occasional travel to other locations as well as working from home when appropriate to do so.
Key Responsibilities:
As a trusted HR assistant/coordinator to our operations team, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the HR Advisor with managing and prioritising enquiries and monitoring completion.
- Providing policy and process advise and support.
- Administering and supporting all HR processes through to completion.
- Directing or supporting any pay and benefits queries.
- Build and maintain effective working relationship with all departments based on mutual trust and understanding.
- You will work closely with your HR Advisor as well as the wider HR team including the Service centre, the Talent Acquisition team and the People Development team.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
- CIPD welcome, but not essential as training can be provided
- Some HR or administrative experience is essential
- Experience of note taking, but not essential
- Empathy and great listening skills
- Team Player
- Very good attention to detail
- Have good spoken and written communication skills
- Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) essential
