OVERVIEW:
Edwards and Pearce is looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager for an excellent client of ours. This role has the maximisation of value for money and heightened efficiency at the heart of the requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to joina successful team that maintains a modern and professional culture throughout.

THE ROLE:

Other key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining a Purchasing Manual which provides reference for documentation and tools to aid purchasing across the organisation.
Coordinate purchasing practises within the Central Procurement Team, in order to maximise savings and efficiency from procurement projects.

Liaising with specialists to identify synergies with existing solutions and services in order to ensure consistent delivery service and provision.

Providing professional procurement advice in the negotiation, tendering and review of purchasing contracts.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ability to provide strategic leadership, define objectives and monitor outcomes.
Extensive experience in procurement, demonstrating knowledge of EU and UK procurement policy.

A calm and professional attitude, with a goal focused mentality whilst also being able to identify development and training needs of the team.

An end user focus with the ability to resolve issues quickly and work effectively on your own initiative.
