Data Integration (ETL) Support Engineer
~£Initial 6 month contract
~ Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite (non-negotiable)
~ You will be supporting both production and non-production environments covering the following aspects: communicating with Data Centre/Help Desk staff, analysing/finding failure to reach root cause, resolving issues by liaising with development teams, liaising with internal and external support teams and providing explanations to their business clients.

Managing and supporting ETL processes, troubleshooting ETL jobs and other company systems including early/nightly batch processing in the event of failure
Out of office hours support is required as part of the Application and Operations support team
Liaising with the relevant support teams (i.e. Technical Support, Network, Infrastructure, DBA) when users experience system issues

Japanese language skills are essential, ideally some experience within a Japanese corporate environment
Strong understanding of Windows environments
Some development experience is required in one or more traditional programming language (i.e. C~, C++, Java etc.)
