The role
Based in Palmerola International Airport, Honduras you'll get to work alongside our dedicated workforce on a US Military base.
This role is a fantastic chance for you to further develop your skills as a Non-Destructive Inspection Technician, working in an exciting environment.
Knowledge and Skills RequiredTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to fulfil each of the following essential duties:
Determine test method and prepare fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection.
Interpret nondestructive inspection test results and provide information about defects to repair centre.
Analyze wear metal content reports on engine lubricating oil and other fluids and recommend corrective action.
Establish radiation areas for radiographic operations.
Compute and monitor personal exposure areas for radiographic operations, and monitor personnel exposure data.
Perform nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems.
Detect flaws such as cracks, delamination's, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, radiographic, optical, and ultrasonic test equipment.
Determine metallurgical information of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors.
Operate, maintain, and inspect nondestructive equipment.
Perform operator maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools.
Ensure lock out and tag out procedures are accomplished prior to maintenance on equipment.
Perform silver recovery functions.
Handle and dispose of hazardous waste and materials.
Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
Must have:
Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant and Ultrasonic testing

Here is a general outline*:
12 month rolling contract.
48-hour working week Monday-Friday.
Fortnightly pay is extremely competitive.
Sign-On Bonus.
Sourced accommodation.
Paid holiday entitlement + bank holidays.
Annual Completion Bonus.
All tools will be included on this contract.
