Description

• Driving a HGV, locally, domestically and throughout Europe
• Stay up to date on laws regarding driving hours, border control and HMRC rules and regulations as well as company policies at all times
• Handling and packing of various types of fine art for safe transport Installation/De-Installation of various fine art and furniture
• Picking up and delivering a variety of artworks including paintings, sculptures and high value furniture of all descriptions
• Collect driving crew daily
• Maintain and oversee the designated vehicle daily, filling out defect paperwork as necessary
• Ensure effective communication with the transport manager regarding traffic or relevant events that may affect the route

• Have an HGV licence
• Possess a clean driving record
• Thorough understanding and previous experience with industry standards for handling, packing, transporting and installing high end furniture, art and antiques
• Ability to work comfortably on a truck as well as client site
• Be physically fit and have the ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding or mechanised lifts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional approach
