About the Team


We have an existing established sales team where roles are starting to be traditionally separated out in to Business Development, Customer Success and Technical Pre-sales.

You will join existing pre sales consultants and work closely across both sales andthe technical teams facing off to our clients but you will also be able to converse well with our developers.

Solidatus is growing all areas and in particular we are looking for pre-sales engineers to work with the engineering team in supporting our business development colleagues when engaging with prospects and customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with Customer Success, Support, Training and external Partners' teams to ensure smooth transition from Sales to Delivery/Support.
  • Demonstrate the Solidatus platform to prospects/customers
  • Work with Business Development to determine and propose solutions to meet prospects'/customers' requirements
  • Working with prospects/customers and Business Development to scope, plan and execute Proof of Concepts and Pilots
  • Contribute to RFI/RFP responses where technical input is required
  • Help answer technical questions from users (both internal and external) where a higher level of technical input is required, above our standard support process
  • Work with Customer Success, Support an external Partners teams to ensure smooth transition from Sales to Delivery/Support.
  • Work with the product team to enhance the Solidatus solution based on prospect/customer needs and requirements
  • Help deliver Solidatus training

Experience and qualifications

  • Familiar with the data ecosystem, metadata management, data governance, data lineage, data quality, etc.
  • A demonstrative technical background
  • Some programming experience is highly beneficial
  • Technologically curious
  • Ability to understand a client's objectives from a business point of view and convert this into technical solutions
  • Experience presenting and demonstrating to clients
