    Chichester College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Teacher of Sociology with Law or Criminology at our Chichester campus.

    You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £26,189 - £40,839 Per Annum.

    The Teacher of Sociology with Law or Criminology role:


    As our Teacher of Sociology, you will have the opportunity to join a growing & highly popular area that delivers A Levels in Sociology, Psychology & Law, BTEC Applied Psychology, WJEC Criminology & BTEC Applied Law.

    You will play a crucial role in delivering high quality teaching and learning to our engaged students, including A Level Sociology, and will also contribute to either Criminology or Law teaching.

    Key Responsibilities of our Teacher of Sociology with Law or Criminology:

    Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.

    Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.

    Contributing to the development of curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.


    Keeping up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.

    Adopting a proactive approach to participation in appropriate meetings and training, as agreed with the curriculum area.

    Our ideal Teacher of Sociology with Law or Criminology should have the below skills and experience:

    Level 3 (or equivalent) in a related subject

    Innovative and creative in meeting the needs of learners
