    Insignis's growing product team is looking for experienced product owners to take ownership of prioritisation and delivery of the backlogs for core client platforms. You will be responsible for helping deliver strategic changes and the evolution of these business-critical platforms. Your role will be vital, not only in ensuring Insignis offers a best-in-class experience for our users but also in balancing the priorities of multiple initiatives and projects to create and maintain a sensible and achievable roadmap for the tech teams you will work with.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Understand the Insignis roadmap and how your backlog contributes to this.
    • Confident in setting backlog priorities, and able to build credibility by engaging with the right stakeholders and understanding the business cases.
    • Work closely with tech team leads and stakeholders to manage the backlog on an ongoing basis.
    • Support product managers in producing detailed requirements.
    • Communicate priorities to the development team and deliver timelines to the business.
    • Attend and contribute to all sprint ceremonies.
    • Work closely with developers and QA to ensure the quality of deliverables.
    • Triage requests and tickets that require backlog prioritisation.

    Requirements

    You:

    • Great communicator, written and verbal.
    • Proven ability to prioritise and manage workloads in a critical and exciting area for the business.
    • Adaptable and professional, build relationships with tech and stakeholders throughout the business.
    • Development mindset, contributing to improving best practices and refining the product ownership processes.
    • You are an experienced product owner working with one or more high-performing agile technical teams in recent roles.
    • Any technical background or financial services experiences are distinct advantages.
    • Experience in Banking or regulated financial services is a distinct advantage.
    • Able to identify dependencies and challenges, and creatively work to resolve them to safeguard the delivery plan for your dev team.
    • Work with product managers and as needed with business stakeholders to ensure the backlog captures all required work, the team understands both the big picture and the detailed requirements.
    • Work with other product owners to ensure any dependencies and priorities between teams are well coordinated.
    • Work closely and build a productive relationship with technology teams, attend and contribute to all sprint ceremonies.
    • Work with stakeholders, including product managers and business representation, to delivery product demos and refine requirements.
    • Outcomes over output.

    Qualifications:

    • 7 or more years working with agile teams in a product capacity with recent experience as a product owner.
    • Degree educated.

    Nice To Have:
