2023 saw substantial growth for the KERB Group and we're now on the search for an incredible Project Manager to join the existing partnerships team and join us on our journey of continued growth going in 2024.
As a Project Manager, you will be integral to the day to day running of KERB Events and the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, live events, many of which involve bar operations and production at sites such as: The KIA Oval, Goodwood Motor Circuit, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Aston Villa Football Club, Leicester Tigers and Jockey Club Racing venues.
As a Project Manager for KERB events, you will also account manage key partnership contacts and venue clients. So if you're looking for your next challenge within a business that genuinely cares about brilliant food, best-in-class events and exceptional hospitality, apply todayEnd-to-end planning of large events to include briefing and liaising with traders, site visits, on-site planning and logistics, staffing and accreditation, access planning and event specific administration
On-site management to food and bar service as well as venue, partner and client management at events
Account management of key partners and venue clients; Management of event-specific budgets, ensuring that all events are hitting target GPs
Working closely with KERB's finance team on all post event financial reconciliation
Providing regular and accurate financial reports to the Partnerships Director and finance team
Building close relationships with our street food traders and independent businesses to build, retain and grow the community
Identify and cultivate new traders and food businesses when required who would fit the KERB ethos
Understand, analyse and monitor food and trader performance
Collaborate with KERB's marketing teams to promote our partnership events and our trader community
Travelling to our venues across the Midlands and working weekends to manage our venue
At least 3 years experience of event and/or project management, ideally with a focus on live events focussing on food and drink
Bar management experience
Proactive mentality and strong commercial awareness, with the ability to take initiative and manage projects from start to finish
An understanding of food and restaurant operations
An strong interest and knowledge in the independent food and drink industry
Excellent people skills, with the ability to talk to clients and traders in a consultative manner and developing long-term relationships
Willingness to travel, including to The Midlands and weekend working when required
A passion for brilliant food only
Experience with / a solid understanding of working with independent food traders
Previous experience in line management
