- Work as an autonomous, accountable Associate Physician, providing a holistic approach including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to deliver high-quality patient services in the home or practice.
- Work closely together and as part of a wider multi-disciplinary workforce including, GPs, pharmacists, nurses, and social prescribers.
- Use advanced clinical skills to provide education to patients and service users, promoting self-care and empowering them to make informed choices about their treatment.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, refer, or signpost patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or injury, supported by senior clinicians as needed.

Essential
- A postgraduate degree in Physician Associate Studies from an accredited PA programme
- Membership of the Faculty of Physician Associates at the RCP, which includes UK Physician Associate Registration (the PA Managed Voluntary Register)
- Current and valid certification or re-certification by the UK Physician Associate National Examination. Experience
