Description

We have an opening for an enthusiastic registered nurse or a HCPC registered dietitian with a special interest and passion for nutrition to join our team.

The post would be suitable for a fully trained nutrition nurse/dietitian or someone willing to undertake full training in a developmental band 6 to band 7 role.

This post supports health care professionals in managing and troubleshooting issues related to artificial nutrition.

It has a responsibility to deliver training programmes to support ward-based nutrition standards and to update guidelines, strategies and feeding competencies to ensure the best care to our patients.

As a specialist, you will work closely with the hospitals Nutrition Team (comprising a Gastro consultant, dietitian, the discharge team and a speech and language therapist) and have close liaison with endoscopy, radiology and Community Teams.

Hours/working pattern can be negotiated on appointment.
