Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire

Duration: Contract (3+ months)

Pay Rate: DOE

Hours: 7am till 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7am till 1pm on a Friday.

We are currently looking for Mechanical Fitters for a project lasting over 3 months in Burton-on-Trent.

Having your transport is advisable given the location.

Candidates should have experience in Plant, Rail, HGV, Maintenance, or Overhaul.

The duties of a Mechanical Fitter include:

• Understanding vehicle mechanical interfaces and repairing vehicle components
• Installation and repair of hydraulic systems
• Fault finding and diagnostic investigations
• Engine expertise
• Overhauling raft components
• Interpreting schematic drawings
• Receiving training as necessary
• Prior Rail/Automotive or Plant experience is a must
