    We'd like you to join us as a Staff Nurse - Bank at our Woodlands Rehabilitation Service in York.

    Woodlands provides specialist Level 2 Neurological Rehabilitation and Neurobehavioural services for adults in York.

    We're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.

    We support patients with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, severe neurological conditions, complex stroke and spinal cord injury. We can undertake SMART assessments for patients in Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDoC) and create bespoke treatment plans.

    What you'll be doing:

    If you have a background working as a band 6 Registered Nurse, or previous experience as a band 5 in a neurological setting.

    Experience of of managing a caseload of complex patients, utilising advanced clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose and implement appropriate nursing support plans. Knowledge of development, clinical training and supervision of support workers.

    You will be able to demonstrate clinical effectiveness by reflecting current evidence base, national guidelines and use of outcome measures.

    Also, demonstrate an ability to lead the team on shift and flexibly support colleagues and to help support the Head of Nursing in delivering the organisations processes.

    What you'll have:

  • A current NMC Pin registration
