    Description

    We are looking for a CPU Architect to join a top company in cutting-edge CPU architecture. This position is available in London, Cambridge, or Edinburgh.

    As the successful CPU Architect, you will be responsible for defining and creating a new and competitive CPU architecture. You will work closely with a small, tight-knit CPU team to establish interfaces between hardware, firmware, and operating systems for systems utilizing this architecture. Your role will involve identifying and addressing bottlenecks to optimize and enhance the product's performance.

    Our client offers competitive salaries, catering to experienced CPU Architects or individuals with a background in Hardware Design and a solid grasp of CPU development.

    Key requirements include:

    • A degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (MSc minimum)
    • Several years of hands-on experience in Digital ASIC Design and CPU development
    • Thorough understanding of CPU instruction set architecture and cores
    • Proficiency in software development and modeling using C
    • Strong communication skills in English
