Position:
Senior Gas Generator Technician

Salary:
Circa £55,000 + Company Car

Location:
Scotland


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engine Generator Technician to join an expanding business delivering to a wide range of clients in the United Kingdom.

Their business continues to win and retain prestigious contracts, with clients valuingtheir multi-disciplinary, client focused team.

Key Skills and experience

  • Multi Gas engine power plant experience.


  • CHP

  • Commissioning of controls, flows and pressures.
  • LV & HV Content.
  • Modification of control systems
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Connection and commissioning of Generator Control Systems. Deif, Siemens, Comap, Deep Sea, PLC
  • Connection and set up of Switchboard Controls
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fault Finding & Diagnostics of control systems
  • PLC experience Control Centres
  • Clean Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of synchronising and Mains paralleling to G99.

Assistance in Generator Installations:

Onsite servicing maintenance and repair of generating sets:


  • Workshop service repair and maintenance of generating set control systems:

Diagnosing and effective repairs of faults in generator control systems:


  • Commissioning of generating sets and associated equipment:
- **To maintain good customer relationships with other contractors whilst working on sites
