Engineer - £33,000 DOE + Benefits - Wellingborough/ Remote
**The Role
Are you looking for the next exciting career opportunity? Do you possess excellent communication and time management skills coupled with ability to present data with meaning? If so, we have an exciting challenge for you.
As a Home-Based Engineer, you will be a technical vehicle construction and repair expert.You will perform image-based desk top inspections and delegate authority to independent and vehicle manufacturer repairers to agreed tolerance levels.
You will reviewcomplaints involving technical vehicle construction and repair issues and provide guidance and recommendations on the best course of action.
You will also conduct regular sample audits of the repair network based on Vizion's Repairer Audit Policy in termsof correct claim circumstances, method, and cost of repair.
**Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of an Engineer include, but are not limited to:- Desk based image assessment inspections.
- Technical complaint management.
- Resolution of escalated technical cases.
- Repair network audit and recommendation.
- Continual improvement of all measures.
- Develop solid and productive working relations.
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively.
- Implement new initiatives.
- Eliminate waste, mistakes and errors.
- Build quality into systems of working.
- Minimise total cost by limiting variation.
- Promote quality and pride in workmanship.
- Ensure all records are maintained.
- Implement and promote Vizion values.
- Application of regulations, esp. DPA.
