Leicester - Hybrid

FTC 6 months

Salary £32881-£38684 DOE

The Opportunity


As a Technical Planner here at Cadent you willbuild strong relationships, have an eye for detail, and meet stakeholder expectations.

Joining a high performing, customer focussed team you will collaborate with planners from other areas to support the deliveryof Network plans efficiently and with precision.

Proactive in analysing the end to end process, identifying process improvements and creating standard operating procedures will allow you to support our business goals.


Key accountabilities will also include:

You will be part of an Area level Operational team, with primary responsibilities being to:

  • Convert the strategic workload plan into a meaningful long-term plan that helps our customers.
  • Own the "Area" level delivery plan for the year and engage with work stack owners to ensure time and quality handover of work.
  • Understand the financial implications of the plan and take actions which will improve the area and networks performance.
  • Create progress reports that reflect the work stacks and their importance.
  • Provide ongoing management/maintenance of the work plan through to delivery and close out.
  • Gather, extract, and analyse data from multiple work management sources to track work completions, understand trend analysis and create performance management metrics.
  • Create work packs enabling the field force to deliver a 'right first time' approach.
  • Engage with local customers where required in order to create plans that deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Engage with work stack owners to ensure work is completed effectively.
  • Develop and document standard working methods for short cycle planning and scheduling work.

About you

  • Experience of developing and documenting business processes is desirable.
  • Experience of SAP / ClickSoftware (or similar scheduling solution) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working in a 'fastpaced' environment.
