    Applications are sought from suitably qualified and / or experienced individuals to join the commercial procurement team at the NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital on a full time permanent basis of 5 days Monday to Friday. A hybrid working arrangement will be considered.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for leading allocated key strategic elements of NHS Golden Jubilee's Procurement Strategy, Annual Reports and major projects, including direct and indirect management of all Procurement, Purchasing, Systems and Stores and Inventory activities.

    There is a requirement to demonstrate resilience including managing expectations from the wide range of departments including NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, NHS Scotland Academy, National Centre for Sustainable Delivery, Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel and Golden Jubilee Research Institute. This is an exciting and varied role with a diverse portfolio to meet the requirements of this unique Health Board offering the successful applicant opportunity for exposure to unique procurement opportunities.

    Applicants should hold professional procurement qualification (CIPS) or vocational level 4 plus Masters level qualification or equivalent experience at a senior level in the field of purchasing and supplies management within a large scale, complex, multi discipline environment. Previous procurement experience within a Health Care environment is preferable; however, applications that evidence relevant experience in other sectors will be considered.
