Technology Data Management Project Manager

We are recruiting for an Technology Data Management Project Manager experienced in addressing the wider Enterprise Technology Data Management, Analytics and Reporting challenges beyond the core Service Management domain.

This will be on an initial 6 month contract, mainly remote working with occasional travel to London and Outside IR35.

Role & Team Profile

Technology Data Management Project Manager
Group Technology has evolved and changed in line with the wider changing Informa business. This has resulted in fragmented and sometimes disconnected data sets in differing systems defining our infrastructure and systems.

This state hinders our ability to fully understand and manage DR/BCP across the technology estate and to effectively understand impacted systems and business processes during Major Incidents (including security) and there is a strong desire to move forwardwith an approach to address these risks and issues.

Progress has been made in building alignment across Group Technology leaders on the approach to improving our technology data management approach.

Key Areas of Responsibility/Accountability

Deliver activities to generate a clear view of the current state of data management, analytics and reporting capabilities and associated processes for global enterprise IT organisations
Engage appropriately to clearly define incumbent risks, issues and dependencies
Engagement with relevant Group Technology and wider business stakeholders to define and document key requirements and vision for a desired new target state
Lead and manage activities to define a future desired state model
Create a highlevel plan, approach and business case to implement the agreed desired state across Informa Technology functions
Define and demonstrate the benefits, risk mitigation and required business change to implement the desired state

Experience

Demonstrable experience of defining and implementing data management and analytics capabilities within complex technology organisations
Ability to articulate and evidence benefits of improved data management strategies
Knowledge of and integration experience of complex data structures, analytics and reporting needs.
Indepth knowledge of a broad range of enterprise asset management and technology data sets; their usage and benefits
Experience of addressing the wider Enterprise Technology Data Management, Analytics and Reporting challenges beyond the core Service Management domain, for example Finance Management, Risk Management, Portfolio, Demand and Delivery Management, OperationalReporting, IT related Metrics and KPIs
Proven experience of engaging with senior technology and business leaders
Ability to comprehend and understand weaknesses and strengths in enterprise Technology group processes
Experience defining and delivering projects for global corporate organisations operating within IT Control, Risk management and Compliance frameworks and ITIL oriented Service Management
Experience defining and delivering projects for traditional or agile delivery methods using appropriate delivery, governance and reporting frameworks
