Filling Operative

£20,272.98 per annum

MGS Cannock

39.5 hours per week

As a member of the site filling team, the main purpose of the role is maintain Medical Gas cylinder stocks by inspecting and re-filling cylinder bottles whilst maintaining health & safety standards at the site.

The Role

Filling of regulators and medical devices in accordance with MGS standards & codes of practice
Ensuring cylinder filling stocks meets with supply & demand
Be active in the reporting of 'near misses'
Complying to Flogas operating procedures and works instructions
Handling of heavy objects

About You

Ability to work in a team or on own initiative
Have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety
Able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels
Able to handle heavy objects
Experience of safe handling and storage of dangerous goods and a Counter balance Fork-Lift truck licence are preferred but not essential
