    As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting an experienced Process Consultant who has experience of novel/emerging thermal process technologies to be based from our Stockport office, with hybrid working.


    We are looking for:

    • a good postgraduate degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering;
    • ideally working towards Chartered Engineer status;
    • significant work experience in one or more of the following areas, e.g., waste industry, consultancy or industrial manufacturing.
    • experience with process plant concept design development, FEED studies, and detailed process plant system design;
    • a good working knowledge of the following technologies:
    • Carbon capture and storage
    • gasification of waste/pyrolysis
    • prior experience of process simulation using MATLAB, Simulink, HYSYS, Aspen Plus or similar;
    • ability to prepare and review typical process plant documentation, i.e., heat & mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, basis of design documents, process calculations etc.
    • prior experience with the timely production of high-quality scientific models, professional technical reports, and other documentation for both external client and internal use;
    • the ability and willingness to travel both in the UK, Ireland and occasionally further overseas for construction site monitoring visits, inspections etc.
