    Job Description A Senior Fire Engineer is an experienced consultant that has provided specialist fire-related information for a range of different projects across the built environment and at different stages of the project life cycle.

    Lead large complex projects as project engineer - A Senior Fire Engineer is expected to take the lead role on large complex projects at all stages of the project cycle, which includes the construction phase and deal with the day-to-day running of the project from a technical and non-technical point of view.

    Practice/apply fire assurance services with minimal support - You will be able to undertake site visits during construction to determine if the fire strategy is being implemented correctly.

    Successfully project manages - You will be able to successfully project manage small-medium size projects from start to finish to ensure BB7's projects are delivered to a high quality, on time, within budget, and achieving the client's KPIs.

    A senior fire engineer will also be capable of work winning and developing their own portfolio to provide diverse projects and support the region.

    Develop technical abilities in your region and contribute to companywide technical excellence - A senior engineer will not only contribute to the technical excellence within the region to ensure the best services are offered to our clients but also to help their team to develop technically and work towards their career path.

    Coaching & Mentoring - You will be able to successfully coach and mentor those less senior within their regions, and the wider team.

    This will involve working with engineers on a range of different projects and supporting them on their approach to the projects.

    Provide Consultancy services that focus on successful outcomes for our clients in an ethical manner - You will be responsible for giving measured and considered technical advice in a timely manner that is clearly understandable to clients to help inform them to make decisions.


    An Engineering Council accredited BEng Hons or MEng or MSc
    Working on plan to become Chartered status with a body such as Engineering Council (EC), RICS or CABE

    Solid technical understanding of the role of a fire engineer in the design team and scope of services throughout the various stages of building design, construction, and occupation.

    Have the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently, working to tight deadlines and successful project management skills
