A valid U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential with the following:

• Mate, 1600 GRT/3000 ITC ton oceans or better
• Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats
• Advanced firefighting
• Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) Operator
• Valid Advanced Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA) Certificate
• Medical Person in Charge
• Vessel Security Officer

Current Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping (STCW) endorsements as appropriate for this position.

Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
