    Purpose

    The Retail Assistant has the opportunity to make a real difference supporting the shop manager in the success of our retail business by maximising & analysing sales figures to make profit in line with company policy.

    To deputise for the Shop Manager & Assistant shop manager in their absence To contribute to planning, creative thinking and developing relationships with

    customers and other community contacts; always looking for opportunities to attract new supporters every day and to increase the profile of Shaw Trust.

    Essential:

    You will have:

  • People centred in a commercial framework, takes accountability for results
  • Demonstrates a passion to further the charitable aims of the organisation and acts with integrity
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software
