- Manage individual caseload by analyzing critical data and reports, setting reserves, negotiating settlements with Cedants, and confidently making decisions.
- Update claims files with accurate information according to best practices.
- Communicate effectively with senior management through clear written and verbal reports.
- Maintain positive relationships with Cedants, Brokers, Co-Reinsurers, and Legal Representatives in handling reinsurance claim exposures.
- Ensure policy obligations are fulfilled and customers are treated fairly.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements, maintain confidentiality, and uphold company policies.
- Achieve set objectives and contribute to team projects as needed.
- Support profitable growth by providing risk insights and assisting with audits and due diligence.
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and operations departments as necessary.
- Stay informed about legal, regulatory, and medical developments in the industry.
- Report important developments and trends to the Head of Claims as required.

HFG are currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Claims Adjuster to join their US Claims team.
They are looking for someone with 2/3+ years US Claims experience - ideally within Property or Casualty. 90% of the workload will be direct US Casualty Claims and will be dealing with US Attorneys. Legacy APH and Reinsurance Claims experience is desirable but not essential.
